Steps to Successful Consigning

Prepare Your Items to Sell. (See Guidelines)

 

Complete 1 of the Following Registrations:**  (New or Returning)

 

Click to Register as a Returning Consignors.**                                                               

If You Have Ever Consigned with Us Before; You Will Need to Use the Returning Consignor Registration.

Doing this step will register you for the upcoming Spring/Summer Sale. 

If You Don't Know Your New Consignor Number & Password; You Can Email Us to receive them.

Click to Register as a New Consignors.**

Same info as Returning Consignors; except you will not need to email us to get your New Account Number & Password.

Enter your inventory and print your barcoded tags that you plan to bring to the upcoming sale. Remember, every items needs a barcode tag with price.

Click to Enter Your Items & Print Your Tags.

Go to the "Consignors Inventory Menu" Where you can:

Add Items

Using Mobile Version

  You will Use Your Phones Touch Screen to Enter Your Info

Using PC/Laptop Version

  You will Manually Key In Your Info

Using Mobile Voice Entry

  You will Use Your Phones Touch Screen & Your Voice to Enter Your Info

Using Mobile Voice Entry

Go to Your Home Page

Click "Menu" Drop Down Box

Click "Work with Consign Inventory"

Click "Add Items"

Click "Mobile Voice Entry"

Go to "Category" Pick your category - Pick your size

Click Microphone Symbol 

Item Description, Say..."Blue Dolphin Swim Suit"

Price, Say..."Price 5 Dollars"

Donate or No Donate,

Say..."Donate" (If you want your item donated)

Say..."No Donate" (If you don't want your item donated)

Discount or No Discount,

Say..."No Discount" (If you don't want your item to be discounted)*

Say..."Discount" (If you do want your item to be discounted)*

OK, lets Review.....All you are Going to say is:

Blue Dolphin Swim Suit

Price 5 Dollars

Donate*

Discount*

For the Software to get your info correct - You Must Use This Format.

You are Not Going to say:

I got a blue set of swim trunks for sale

I want about $5 for them

I'm going to donate them

I don't really care if they are discounted or not

                      

Click to Print Tags/Labels

Once you have printed Your Tags - You Can Not Edit the Price of the Item without Printing a New Tag/Label with the new price on it. The Price is encoded in the Barcode - The Price in the system Must Match the Printed Barcode. You Can Reprint another Tag/Label Anytime.

Disable all Pop Up Blockers before you Start to Print - Your Tags may Pop Up in Another Window.

​

Printing Adhesive Labels vs. Cardstock Tags

There are 2 Type of Barcode Labels/Tags you can print.

One is a Smaller Avery 5160 Adhesive Label; & the other is a Larger Cardstock Label.

 

Both have very different purposes; both have Barcodes.

​

The Larger Cardstock Tags are the preferred Method for Tagging your items.

The Smaller Avery Labels may be Harder to Generate; depending on your Printer.

 

The Smaller Avery 5160 Adhesive Labels are good for Make Up, Jewelry, & small House Hold Items, the Bottom of 1 Shoe (the other shoe bottom gets a piece of Masking Tape with your Account #), any smaller item that the adhesive label would easily adhere to.

​

Adhesive Labels are Not good for Tagging Clothing Items. They will Not Stay on the Clothing.

 

You can put these smaller adhesive labels on Cardstock & attach the Cardstock to the clothing item.

If your item is Not going to be Discounted, take a Red Marker & put a Red Dot on the Avery Label.

​

When Printing the Avery Labels you will Always check the box "Generate Tags as Avery" & "Generate Tags as PDF" You will go to "More Settings" on your Printer Screen & "Scale to Custom" & Pick "100%" & Not "Fit to Paper" or "Default"

​

When generating the Larger Barcode Cardstock Tag from our website; they Must be printed on Cardstock (not regular Thinner Printer Paper)  if you select no discount on your items please use a Red Marker & Place a Red Dot on your Tag; just like you would if you are Using the Smaller Avery Labels.

​

These Larger Tags are good for staying fastened to the item they are attached to​ because they are Gunned on with a Tagging Gun, Pinned on, or Taped on using Clear Packing Tape.

 

The Larger Cardstock Tags are used on All Clothing, Furniture, Larger House Hold & Large toys or Baby items.

 

If your item is Not going to be Discounted, select or say "No Discount" when entering your inventory into the system before printing your tag. Make sure you also manually red dot the label.  If you manually red dot the item and don't select no discount on the ticket it will be sold as a discount.   So Please pay attention to if you want it discounted and if you want it donated.

Tag Your Items with the Barcode Tags You Just Made in the Step Above.

 

Click to Make Your Drop Off Appointment.  

You can Schedule this in your Home Page or when You Register.

​

Click to Print Contract.

​

Click to Print Red Dot Form (This is a List of any Items that you Do Not want to be Discounted on any of our Discount Days.)

​

Come During Your Designated Appointment Time, with Items Tagged, Contract and Red Dot Form (Listing Your "No Discount" Items, if You Have Any).

​

Sit Back and Wait, Your Items are Now Selling.

​

Pickup Your Check and or Your Items on Pick Up Day (May 23rd).

            (Remember.....We Only Sort Certain Items)
